Hi, I’m Reilly, a Licensed Master Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Therapy Unboxed.

I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move through life with greater clarity.

Many of the people I work with are used to holding a lot together. They are likely managing careers, relationships, and responsibilities while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

Therapy offers space to slow down, understand the patterns shaping your experiences, and begin making meaningful changes.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Michigan and am currently completing advanced training in couples and sex therapy through Sexual Health Alliance.

Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me volunteering at a local animal shelter, binge-watching Law & Order, or spending time with my dog, Stevie.

My Approach

My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and relational. Clients often share that they appreciate the balance of honesty and compassion in our work together. I am not the kind of therapist who simply nods along. I share observations, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Sessions tend to feel more like a meaningful conversation than a formal clinical experience. You do not need to have the perfect words or even know where to begin. Part of the work is simply slowing down, getting curious, and making sense of things together.

The name Therapy Unboxed reflects the belief that meaningful change often begins when we step outside the boxes we’ve been placed in or the ones we’ve created for ourselves.
