Hi, I’m Reilly, a Licensed Master Clinical Social Worker (LMSW-C) and the founder of Therapy Unboxed.

I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move through life with greater clarity.

Many of the people I work with are used to holding a lot together. They are likely managing careers, relationships, and responsibilities while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

Therapy offers space to slow down, understand the patterns shaping your experiences, and begin making meaningful changes.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Michigan and am currently completing advanced training in couples and sex therapy through Sexual Health Alliance.

Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me volunteering at a local animal shelter, binge-watching Law & Order, or spending time with my dog, Stevie.

My Approach

My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and relational. Clients often tell me they appreciate that sessions feel honest, grounded, and actually human. I am not the kind of therapist who just nods silently while you spiral for 50 minutes. I will share observations, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Therapy with me tends to feel more like a meaningful conversation than a cold or overly clinical experience. You do not need to show up with the “right” words, a perfectly organized timeline, or a breakthrough ready to go. Most people don’t. Part of the work is simply slowing down, untangling what is happening beneath the surface, and making sense of it together.

The name Therapy Unboxed reflects the belief that meaningful change often begins when we step outside the boxes we’ve been placed in or the ones we’ve created for ourselves.
