Good Faith Estimate
Your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who are not using insurance with an estimate of the expected cost of services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental health care may cost.
What Is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate provides an estimate of the expected charges for services provided by Therapy Unboxed.
Because therapy needs and treatment length vary for each individual, the total cost of services may depend on the number of sessions you choose to attend and the type of services provided.
Estimated Cost of Services
The typical fees at Therapy Unboxed are:
Individual Therapy Session (55 minutes): $155
Couples Therapy Session (55 minutes): $225
Extended Couples Session (75 minutes): $285
Individual Focused Session (30 minutes): $90
These fees represent the expected cost per session. The total cost of care will depend on the number of sessions scheduled.
A personalized Good Faith Estimate can be provided upon request.
Your Rights
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
You may contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to learn more about your rights under the No Surprises Act.
